"CELEBRATE YOUR CURVES WITH NICOLE BREWER" - treatment

CELEBRATE YOUR CURVES WITH NICOLE BREWER” (logline) is a reality/makeover show that celebrates real women with real curves and bridges the fashion gap for everyday women by showing them how to have fabulous, sophisticated style at any size. Finding the most flattering silhouette for your body type is, for most of us, easier said than done. However, Nicole Brewer has mastered the art of helping women celebrate their curves!

CELEBRATE YOUR CURVES WITH NICOLE BREWER” (synopsis) is a reality/makeover show for real-size women with real curves and real lives. Join celebrity stylist, Nicole Brewer, and her celebrity guests as they share their philosophies on looking and feeling great at any age, at any size.

Watch Brewer and her team of experts share that knowledge with women who need help with their everyday look or who need expert style guidance in preparing for a special occasion (prom, wedding, reunion, new job, etc.). Fabulous hair, flawless make-up and fierce fashion are all worked together to give eye-catching style to real women of all shapes and sizes.

Each week on “CELEBRATE YOUR CURVES WITH NICOLE BREWER,” Nicole and her celebrity guests - all of whom are known as style-mavens - share their favorite fashion do's and don’t-you-dares. Our celebrity style-mavens reveal their secrets to accentuating their positives in fashion as well as in life! Brewer then gets to work with our everyday women, bringing them together with top stylists and fashion designers who help guide the journey toward fittingly fabulous personal style. Afterwards, our real women meet with Brewer and her celebrity style-mavens for an uplifting dialogue to reaffirm that beauty and style have no size.

Since mainstream fashion focuses on the frames of the thinnest and encourages the rest of us to idolize these body sizes, Brewer redirects our vision to bring exceptional fashion and fashion-sense to everyday women, empowering them with the right tools to use fashion as a form of self-expression. So, whether you are petite or plus size, Brewer can show you how to play up your assets and downplay the rest – this is her passion. According to Brewer, “The secret to great style is simple. It's all about choosing what's looks best on your body, and everyone deserves to learn how to do that.”

Brewer has lent her “style beyond size” philosophy to real women with real curves on The View, Entertainment Tonight and Access Hollywood and has styled such Grammy and Tony Award winning divas as: Beyoncé, Chaka Kahn, Anita Baker, Anika Noni Rose, Mariah Carey, Tonya Pinkins and Nikki Blonsky. So, fasten your designer suede belt and forget what you thought you knew about fashion because Brewer is about to take back the runway and give it to real women so they can "CELEBRATE THEIR CURVES!"

What makes this show special and unique from other reality/makeover shows is that it is an antidote to obesity paranoia and makeover programs that tell us that it is the flesh that must be made over in order to be beautiful and loved, successful and happy. Instead of changing or fixing them, this program shows women how to work what they've got, to empower them to feel beautiful and confident and to thrive in all areas of life! Brewer, her team and the celebrity style-mavens all work together to prove that it is possible to redefine how you feel about yourself by embracing your body exactly as it is NOW, and discovering new fashion options that really work for you.

What also makes the show different is its magazine style, editorial format that is filled with fashion secrets, style solutions, tips, tricks and information everyday women can really use. It is 30 minutes of style advice, dedicated to the real shopper, turning the everyday woman into a full-fledged fashionista. “CELEBRATE YOUR CURVES WITH NICOLE BREWER" demystifies the notion that "one size fits most" and educates the everyday woman about how fashion can be a healthy way to show off what you love most about yourself.

Sixty-four million women in America have real curves. “CELEBRATE YOUR CURVES WITH NICOLE BREWER" will embrace healthy, beautiful shapes and the real women who represent more than half of the nation's population and consumers.

“CELEBRATE YOUR CURVES WITH NICOLE BREWER" is...

Fashion for Every Body. Beauty for Every Face.

Most recently, in front of an audience of more than 11 million viewers, Nicole transformed her lifestyle as well as her figure. Nicole encourages to look within and discover that beauty and style comes from knowing how to work what you’ve got! She applies this theory to everyone that she’s worked with from Beyoncé to Mariah Carey, DreamgirlsAnika Noni Rose and Jennifer Hudson, and most recently, Hairspray’s “It-Girl,” Nikki Blonsky. Whether she is styling clients for red carpet events, award shows, television and print ads or magazine editorials, her ability to select the right silhouettes and choose forward fashion that flatters, has been the secret to her success.

With a B.A. degree from Brown University, Nicole moved to New York to pursue a career in fashion media, accepting her first job in fashion marketing and public relations at Esprit de Corps. But, it wasn’t long before she found her niche in fashion journalism and inside the pages of MODE magazine, the premier and high-gloss fashion magazine for real women size 12 and above. At MODE and sister rag, GIRL magazine, she developed her skills as a fashion editor, monthly columnist and featured stylist. She continued her work in editorial and wardrobe building for private clients before becoming the fashion and beauty director at HEART & SOUL magazine.

Soon after HEART & SOUL, Nicole landed the coveted job of fashion director at ESSENCE magazine. She enjoyed developing fashion concepts, styling fashion features and celebrity covers for ESSENCE, and found herself poised to pursue opportunities in freelance styling and image development.

Nicole’s thirteen-year journey in fashion has been multi-faceted, offering her invaluable opportunities for professional growth in both corporate and creative areas of the industry. She puts her skills and experience to work, appearing as a fashion correspondent and style expert on such shows as The View, Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight, BET Style and other national and local television shows across the country.

Nicole currently resides in Brooklyn, New York and freelances as a wardrobe stylist, fashion market editor and group fitness instructor when she’s not busy primping celebs. She is represented by Get Dressed, Inc.
